I think this is one of the most obvious of oxymora in the sense that 'authentic' stands for something original whereas 'replica' is a copy of an original or even a work of plagiarism. However, the two put together give an indication of an indisputable duplicate whose original can be traced.

I came here after seeing an add on craigs list saying they sold 100 % Authentic Replicas! I honestly had to think la little bit on this one to try to figure it out! ha
